Natter   and   Yarn –

Knit, Crochet and Weave.

Every 4th Wednesday of the month

2pm – 3.30pm Free or £5 when we have a guest tutor

Time out to share your skills and expertise with yarn and textiles. This is a participant led session so bring your own project. Occasional tutors will be invited at the request of those who attend and want to learn new techniques.

Extend  Your  Health  with  Ketyn

Weekly 12 noon – 1pm £4.50 or if you book a whole month of classes it’s £4 per class.

Gadget  Busters  with  Age UK

Alternate weeks 9.45 – 11.45  £3

20th Feb, 6th March, 20th March, 3rd April, 17th April etc

Age UK volunteers have expertise and lots of patience so are perfect when you just need to ask a really dumb technical question. Whether you need to set up a new mobile phone or would like to know how to sent attachments on your lap top, this is the place to come for some sensible advice.

 

 

 

New  transport  for  wheelchairs

Local ladies Eileen Broadley, Sue Maxwell and Jenny Straffon have donated they mother’s wheelchair friendly car so that more wheelchair bound people can get out and about.

(Left to Right) Sam Hocking of Winford Ford who are sponsoring the vehicle, Sue Maxwell and Eileen Broadley. Pat Howland and her mother Jackie Clark are the first beneficiaries. Jackie has been unable to get out and about easily for a year and this vehicle now means she has been able to do very normal things like shopping and tea out at a local cafe.
