We would like to share the fun!
Rural Links – Wellness Wednesdays
9.45am – 3.30pm every Wednesday at Pensford Memorial Hall, Publow Lane s wide range of activities are on offer and a simple soup and ploughman lunch to share with old friends and new. We are creating a new opportunities and a weekly focal point for people living in the Chew Valley who spend a lot of their time alone or are caring for someone else. This will be a collaboration between the Village Agents, Age UK, Virgin Care, the Carers’ Centre, The Volunteer Network and many more specialist services.
As we further develop ideas for Rural Links it is clear that we need more helpful hands. Just a few hours of your time will make a huge difference. Our funds don’t stretch to paying for your time but we will reimburse agreed expenses and always have food and a cuppa to share with you.
Transport for pleasure and wellbeing. Driving people to and from local venues for activities and company.1 – 2 hours. Also taking people on longer excursions to places of interest. If you are OK to drive a minibus, then let us know. This all comes with guaranteed laughter and some good old yarns along the way.

At the moment the space is overgrown and lacking cheer. We have veg drugs that need planting up with wonderful herbs and fragrant plants. Help needed please.
